🔼 New Hokie. The men’s soccer team has Dagur Garðarsson joining the 2025 roster. Garðarsson is a forward from Kópavogur, Iceland. He has previously played club soccer for Stjarnan, KFG, and, most recently, HK Kópavogur.

🔼 Full Force. The women’s soccer team is heating up for the 2025 season. The Hokies play at a neutral site against Vanderbilt for their second exhibition game this month.

Promoted. Men’s soccer staff member Matt Watts was promoted to associate head coach. He is entering his second season at Virginia Tech. Before his time in Blacksburg, he coached eight years at Nova Southeastern and posted a 64-44-14 record.
