🔼 Shutout! The men’s soccer team beat Queens (NC) 4-0. Oliver Roche, Declan Quill, Ian Marcano and Alex Perez scored. The Hokies strived through the rainy match with 31 shots, 13 being on goal. Cooper Wenzel had five saves in goal to keep the team on a clean sheet. Virginia Tech scored three goals in the first half, their most in a half so far this season.

Next Up. The football team takes on Stanford this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. This is the Hokies second of back-to-back road conference games. They take on the Cardinal for the first time as members of the ACC. Overall, this is the second time the programs have met. Their first matchup was in 2011 during the Orange Bowl.
