🔼 Day 1. A few Hokies competed on the first day of the NCAA Championships. Ben Conacher finished fourth in the men’s pole vault with a 5.58m clearance. Christian Jackson placed seventh in the men’s 800m, advancing to the 800m final on Friday night. Declan Rymer took 19th in the men’s 3000m steeple.

Hokie Stats. Former softball paltry Cori McMillan is on the AUSL Bandits softball team. The Bandits won 8-0 on Tuesday, winning its series against the Talons 2-1.

Navigating Change. Director of Athletics Whit Babcock released a letter about the recent settlement in the House v. NCAA case:

This new framework introduces student-athlete revenue sharing, removes scholarship limits in favor of roster limits, and brings long-overdue structure and transparency to a system that desperately needed both. It will redefine how we operate, how we compete and how we support our student-athletes moving forward.”
