🔼 Welcome! The football team has a new offensive coordinator. Philip Montgomery comes to the Hokies after coaching at Tulsa, Auburn, Baylor and Houston. Montgomery has more than two decades of coaching experience.

Academic Excellence. The ACC named 20 football players to the 2024 All-Academic Team. There are seven athletes who are multiple-time honorees. Each of the Hokies had a 3.0 GPA in the fall and competed in at least 50% of the games this season.
