🔼 In the Pros. Let’s check up on how our Hokies in the NFL performed in Week 4. Kicker Joey Slye drilled a 63-yard field goal for the Patriots. It was the longest converted kick in franchise history and the fourth-longest kick in NFL history. Chuck Clark matched his season-high seven tackles in the Jets vs. Broncos game. He has the second-highest total across the Jets defense.

🔼 0’s All Around. The women’s soccer team took on Miami and ended in a 0-0 draw. The Hokies recorded their seventh shutout of the season. The team is now 8-3-2 overall and 3-1-1 in conference play.

Date Announced. Virginia Tech Director of Athletics Whit Babcock announced that former Tech women’s basketball legend Elizabeth Kitley will have her iconic number 33 jersey retired on Sunday, Jan. 19, at Cassell Coliseum. That is the same night that the team will take on Louisville at 4 p.m. Kitley played five seasons and is the program’s all-time leader in games started, minutes played, points scored and scoring average.
