🔼 Begin the Trials. Athletes from the track and field team competed in the US Olympic Team Trials this past week. Standing out above all was Vincent Ciattei. He finished fourth in the 1500m finals, running a personal best of 3:31.78. Judson Lincoln IV placed eighth in the 400m semifinals with a time of 44.98.

As we approach football season, let’s see what the team has been up to.

College Football Analyst Phil Steele named 11 Hokies to the All-ACC Team and two as All-Americans. Bhayshul Tuten and Antwaun Powell-Ryland were named to both the All-ACC and All-American squads. Tuten rushed for 863 yards on 173 attempts last season. He scored 10 touchdowns and caught 27 passes. Powell-Ryland registered 40 tackles, 23 of which were solo and 9.5 sacks.
