🔼 Weekly Honors. After his first career start, quarterback William “Pop” Watson III was named the ACC Rookie of the Week. He completed 14 of his 21 passes for 254 yards and scored two touchdowns against Virginia. Kicker John Love was named the ACC Specialist of the Week. He connected on all three field goal attempts and was 4-for-for on PATs for a total of 13 points.

🟠 ONE BIG THING

First Time ‘Round. The Atlantic Coast Conference named Belle Patrick to the 2024 ACC All-Freshman Team. Patrick is the ninth player in program history to receive the honor. She had 281 kills, 24 aces, 165 digs and 38 blocks in her freshman season.
