Good morning! Couldn’t be more proud of our two sports that made it into NCAA Tournament action so far this season.

🔼 Signed! The football team has many new faces coming to the program for the 2025 season. Learn each player’s position and hometown here.

🔼 Challenge Won. The women’s basketball team beat Georgia 70-61 in the 2024 edition of the SEC/ACC Challenge. Lani White scored a season-high 14 points. Carys Baker, Rose Micheaux and Matilda Ekh also scored in double figures.

🔼 Conference Honors. Six Hokies were named to 2024 All-ACC Teams. Antwaun Powell-Ryland and Aeneas Peebles earned First Team honors. Bhayshul Tuten was named to the Second Team. Mansoor Delane, Jaylin Lane and Peter Moore earned Third Team honors. Xavier Chaplin, Kaden Moore, Dorian Strong and John Love earned Honorable Mentions.

🔼 Season Honors. Three Hokies have been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams. Allie George earned Third Team honors. Natalie Mitchell and Emma Pelkowski were named to the Fourth Team.

New Coach. The swim and dive program has a new head coach! Sergio Lopez Miro just named a Virginia Tech graduate and current volunteer assistant coach to the new position.

🟠 TOP PERFORMERS

Stellar Performance. The regular season for football has come to a close. Let’s take a look back at the standout performers. Bhayshul Tuten had a career-best 1,159 rushing yards to become Virginia Tech’s top rusher. Antwaun Powell-Ryland had 16 sacks, tying for second place among FBS sack leaders. Kyron Drones led the team with 1,562 passing yards. Stephen Gosnell had 27 receptions for 497 yards. Jaylin Lane led with 38 receptions. Jaden Keller had 76 total tackles. Mansoor Delane led the team with four interceptions.
