🔼 Shutout! The No. 11 softball team shut out No. 24 Liberty 6-0. Emma Lemley pitched a complete-game shutout and tallied nine strikeouts. Jordan Lynch and Cori McMillan both hit home runs. This is the program’s ninth ranked win of the season.

🔼 First! The ACC named Lyndsey Reed the Women’s Field Athlete of the Week. This is her first weekly honor at Virginia Tech. She reached a height of 4.37m in pole vault to place her No. 6 in the NCAA.

🔼 Hokie Spirit. Children ages 5-12 are invited to join the Virginia Tech Spirit Squads for a clinic during the pre-game of the Spring Game! Participants will learn a short routine to perform on the field in Lane Stadium before the start of the game. Registration closes this Friday at noon.

History Made. The baseball and softball teams achieved series sweeps against ranked opponents on the same weekend for the first time in school history.

Softball beat No. 16 Stanford, and baseball beat No. __ Wake Forest.

Record Set. The women’s golf team won its second team title of the season at the Ironwood Invitational. The Hokies set a program record for the most team titles in a season (two) and claimed their fourth title (third outright) in school history.
