🔼 Shutout! The men’s soccer team beat Winthrop 6-0. The Hokies came out strong with four goals in the first half and two in the second. This is the first time the program has scored six goals since 2016. The Hokies’ last shutout victory of six or more goals was in 2007. Ethan Hackenberg, Andy Sullins, Malick Thiaw, Yonis Kireh, Alex Perez and Oliver Roche scored.

🔼 Leading the Way. The men’s golf team competed at the Qubein Cup and finished with a score of 921 (+81). Gareth Steyn led the Hokies with a score of 221 (+11), tying for 20th individually. This was his first top-20 finish of the season.

Almost Gameday. The Hokies take on Boston College tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. ET. You can watch the game on ESPN or listen on Virginia Tech Sports Network. For fans attending, make sure to wear orange! This is the 30th time the Hokies are playing Thursday night football and the 33rd time the Hokies and Eagles play each other. Virginia Tech leads the all-time series 21-11.
