🔼 We’re In! The women’s basketball team was selected to compete in the 2024 Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off. Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Iowa State, Purdue, Middle Tennessee, Michigan, Belmont and Davidson are the teams competing. The event will be held on Nov. 28-30 on the campus of Florida Southwestern State College.

As we approach football season, let’s see what the team has been up to.

Virginia Tech is stacked with talented players, including Jaylin Lane. Lane secured the sixth spot among the top 10 highest-graded returning wide receivers in the ACC, according to Pro Football Focus. Last season, Lane caught 41 passes for 538 yards and six touchdowns. He is currently a fifth-year and leads the team in receptions and is second in receiving yards.
