🔼 Mark the Calendar! The women’s basketball team released the nonconference schedule. The Hokies have 12 games and nine are on Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum. The season opener is on Nov. 4 when the Hokies host Towson. The conference schedule will be announced at a later date.

🔼 Watch Her. Women's soccer player Natalie Mitchell was named to the United Soccer Coaches Midfielders to Watch List. Mitchell is a senior who is entering her fourth season with the Hokies. She has been a consistent starter for the team for the past three seasons. Last season, Mitchell led the Hokies in points (16) and tallied five goals and six assists.

That’s Tight Dawg. Tight end Benji Gosnell was named to the Mackey Award Watch List. The award recognizes the best tight end in college football. He is one of 46 players honored. Gosnell started all 13 games last season, recorded 32 receptions for 341 yards and scored two touchdowns.
