🔼 Victory. The women’s soccer team won its home opener against VCU 5-1. The Hokies scored three goals in the first half and two in the second half. Natalie Mitchell, Eliana Salama and Samantha DeGuzman each scored one goal, and Hannah Pachan scored two. Virginia Tech had 24 shots, and 11 were on goal. Lauren Hargrove spent the majority of the game in goal and recorded five saves.
