🔼 Second Honor. The ACC named Lauren Hargrove the Defensive Player of the Week. This is her second time being honored this season. She recorded six saves in the Hokies win over No. 7 Notre Dame. She posted a shutout against Notre Dame and NC State.

🟠 GAME PREVIEW

Talking Stats. The football team faces Syracuse on Saturday at noon. The game will be televised on CW Sports, or you can listen to it on the Virginia Tech Sports Network. This will be the 21st meeting between the programs. If the Hokies win, it would mark the fourth straight victory and clinch a second consecutive bowl game under coach Brent Pry.
