🔼 Moving Up. The women’s soccer team is now ranked No. 18. This is a jump from last week’s ranking of No. 21. Since the previous ranking, the Hokies beat SMU 1-0 and Eden Skyers tallied a career 5,000 minutes played.

🔼 Two Honored. Two Hokies were named 2024 ACC UNITE Award recipients— Aisha Sheppard and Aaron Rouse.

🟠 NFL HOKIES

Impressive Performances. Week six of the NFL was a big one for former Hokies. Linebacker Divine Deablo had six tackles, a sack and two tackles for loss. He earned a 90.6 coverage rating by Pro Football Focus. Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds registered six tackles, four of which were for loss. Kicker Joey Slye went three for three in extra-point attempts.
