🔼 Title Share Secured. The No. 10 wrestling team beat No. 7 NC State to claim a share of the ACC regular season title. The Hokies secured the seventh trophy in the Tony Robie era since taking over the program in 2017.

🔼 Champ Stats. The swim & dive team finished up at the ACC Championships. The men’s medley relay earned bronze. The Hokies set three new school records— men’s 400 medley relay, women’s 400 medley relay and the women’s 100 backstroke. On the final day, Carles Coll Marti took home gold in the 200 breaststroke and was named the Most Valuable Swimmer of the Meet on the men’s side.

🔼 Senior Day Dub. The women’s basketball team beat Cal 87-64 on Senior Day. Matilda Ekh went 9-for-12 from the floor for a team-high 19 points. The women set a program record by committing five turnovers, the fewest in a single game in program history.

🔼 The Bash. The No. 17 softball team began the Easton Bama Bash with a win over No. 21/23 Alabama 2-1 and Drake 8-0. Emma Lemley threw six strikeouts with no walks through seven innings against the Crimson Tide. The Hokies then beat Southern Utah 4-0 and 6-3. Emma Mazzarone tallied a career-high 10 strikeouts and only allowed two hits in seven innings.

🔼 Road Dub. The men’s basketball team beat Miami 81-68 for its fifth road win of the season. Jaydon Young scored a career-high 27 points. The Hokies shot 52.50% from the field and 41.38% from behind the arc.

🔼 Comeback! The lacrosse team earned its third consecutive win of the season as they beat Pitt 11-10. Lauren Render led the team with 3 goals. Grace New was right behind with 2 goals, including the eventual game-winner after collecting a feed from Mia Pozzi.

🔼 Southpaw. The baseball team beat UNCG 6-2 on Sunday. Jake Marciano threw five shutout innings while recording seven strikeouts. Overall, the Hokies had 11 hits and six RBIs.

More Records. The track & field team competed at the Terrier DMR Challenge and hosted the Virginia Tech Challenge. Throughout the weekend, the Hokies collected two program records. The men’s DMR and women’s 800m records fell in Boston. At the Rector Field House, the Hokies collected seven event wins, 17 career-best marks and 14 ACC qualifying marks.
